The build quality of the phone is very high and uses glossy plastic which is made by a technique called as Hyperglaze by Samsung. It has a Gorilla Glass Super Amoled Display with 720p screen resolution providing the combination of colors and giving an original feel. It is powered by a Exynos 1.4 Ghz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM.

 The device comes with an option of 16 / 32/ 64 GB internal storage and external storage upgradable to 64 GB via microsd card. It has S voice which is obviously an answer to the Siri of Iphone. This function can be activated by saying "Hi Galaxy". The Samsung Galaxy Y is a budget hanset in the market which features a ver powerful processor and also android v2.3.6 which is very much reasonable at such a price. Unlike other mobile phone manufacturers Samsung is launching new devices in budget phone segment.

 A common man thinking of buying a 6k hanset can buy these budget phone from samsung and get fun like those on mid range which cost around 13k. The features it provides are more than enough in this price range but some of the the disadvantages I shall be discussing after the features. So the highlighted features are as follows
