Software to Install or Run Linux from USB drive

Its interesting to know that you can boot into any linux version just by using your usb drive and no need to install it on your system, which eats a lot of your hard drive space. Just plug in your USB drive on startup and select option run linux from usb OR if you want to install linux into your system you can also do that from this drive.

Steps to make usb drive bootable into linux
Step:1
Download the Universal USB Boot setup. Now plugin your USB pen drive (minimum 2GB) and after that double click on the downloaded .exe file. A screen like below will come in front of you

Step:2 Select linux distribution that you want to install and browse & select .iso image from your system


Step:3 


Select USB Flash drive letter (its easy as only the removable drives are displayed in it)
 and tick on format drive and click on create

It is recommended to format the drive which will erase all contents stored on it before the Linux distribution is copied to it.

Now as the USB drive has been created you can boot into linux by plugging in usb drive and configuring the startup and set first priority to USB Flash drives.
